Black Mountain
A deep brown/black clay. Medium texture. Great for wheel. Warm chocolate brown in oxidation.Rich brown to black in reduction.
B-Mix Cone 5 With Grog
Same as Cone 5 B-Mix with fine grog added for strength. Avoids speckling of Cone 5 B-Mix w/ Sand.
B-Mix Cone 5 With Sand
Same as B-Mix with 10% fine 90 mesh silica sand for some texture and more strength.
B-Mix Cone 5
Cream/Off-White-Gray Remarks: A creamy white clay that is easy to throw and form. Excellent glaze results. Very plastic with smooth porcelain texture. Dry slowly to avoid cracking.
Calico
General-purpose clay that works well in methods. 60m sand adds medium texture. speckled reduction look in electric kiln.
Obsidian (aka Cassius Basaltic)
Very black ebony-like finish. Satin smooth with striking appearance.
Dixon
A strong grogged clay body great for hand building and sculpture. Not recommended for the wheel.
