The Spectrum Raku glazes are all lead-free and require a raku firing process. While still red hot, the glazed piece should be transferred into the reduction bin; commonly a small sealable metal container containing an organic material. The reduction bin should be closed to allow the piece to cool for at least 20 minutes before removing and cleaning it.
