Leslie’s Engobe Series can be fired from cone 04 to cone 10. Apply 2-3 coats to either greenware or bisqueware. Formulated to resist cracking and peeling on greenware, these engobes are a great choice for sgraffito. Can be used as an undercoat/”primer” on darker bodies to enhance glaze color and performance. Use a cover glaze for food surfaces.
