Jet Black Velvet Underglaze is a cool black color that is smooth and velvety at cone 05 (1st image), darkens at cone 5 (2nd image), and becomes darkest black and slightly glossy at cone 10 (3rd image). A clear glaze deepens and accentuates the underglaze significantly at any temperature.

Jet Black Velvet Underglaze may be muted when used under SM-10 Clear Satin.
