TILE MAKING WITH CAROLIN MEIR
Learn tile-making techniques including clay selection, forming, drying, and firing. Tile design ideas will be explored including connecting patterns, accent tiles and deep relief images. You will make a tile mold and decorate bisque tile. Free firings for tiles created in this class. What you create you can take home. Supplies included in class fee.
Carolin Meier has a BFA from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia where she studied graphic arts and ceramics. Caroline is a tile maker and the proprietor of California Clay, which specializes in custom residential tile.
